THE RIGHT START IS IMPORTANT!

When a project of any type begins with Greenland Technical Writing & Consulting LLC (GTWC), a “kickoff” meeting will be scheduled and the project groundwork established.

A Project Data Sheet will be developed and will include all names and contact information for GTWC staff and client staff. The scope and formatting of the document will also be established as well as the schedule of submissions and milestones.

The Project Data Sheet will be the roadmap for the project, but will also be a living document that can change as the project progresses.

EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING

Curriculum Development

GTWC can prepare lesson plans and instructional materials customized to your audience. Our professional staff will utilize information from multiple sources (e.g., operating and maintenance manuals) and disciplines within your firm and assist in the creation of a curriculum and lesson plan.

We will incorporate any graphs, charts, photographs or other illustrations required to enhance the learning process and place them into the best format for the most effective presentation to the trainees.

GTWC can develop testing materials to determine trainee achievement levels and use this information to continue building the most effective training program. We can help you develop a filing and tracking system to allow you to have up-to-date records of the training status of your staff. This is particularly important when your company must comply with record keeping requirements of federal or state regulatory agencies.

GTWC can develop evaluation questionnaires to be used by trainees to give feedback about their experiences with training programs and instructors. The data will be analyzed and presented in a report form to your company in order to facilitate changes necessary to make improvements.

Training Program Review/Critique

GTWC can evaluate your present training programs to update and improve then. We will work closely with your staff and coordinate with any regulatory agencies to bring your training programs up to date, up to speed and in compliance.

Training Logistics and Facilities

Planning and coordination of training programs can be difficult. There are facilities to arrange, instructors to be assigned, students to be scheduled and materials to be provided. Our staff has vast experience in the planning and coordination of training programs.

GTWC can also provide assistance in the design of training facilities. Our qualified staff of training professionals has over 25 years of experience in the design, construction and management of training facilities.
